Award-winning vocalist Doug Acosta (described by Sir Terry Wogan/BBC as "a
sophisticated talent, the rarest of bonafide crooners.") and the jazz
quartet of Sean Harkness swing south of the border to toast the melodic and
lyrical warmth popularized by two coolest icons.

Growing up akin to the venues of Manhattan, Doug was drawn to performing
early on and classically trained during his teen years.   Following a
behind-the-scenes career in corporate Hollywood, certain passion compelled
him to revisit the microphone in 2007.  During the **past few years he's
been traveling the globe, fronting big bands and headlining aboard the
world's last two ocean liners: Cunard's QE2 and RMS Queen Mary 2.

In a revelatory NYC debut, Doug lands at the Metropolitan Room bearing swing
and latin standards evocative of our breezy neighbors below.
